Japanese VG10 69-layer Damascus steel
The knife consists of 69 layers of the finest Japanese steel. These layers are placed against a layer of VG10 steel, resulting in a 69-layer knife. This is also called Damascus steel. The production technique is centuries old and results in stronger and harder knives. This makes the knives indispensable for every kitchen.
Micarta Handle
Yaxell has used Micarta for the handles of these knives. Micarta is a material consisting of linen impregnated with an epoxy resin. This makes the material very strong. It can withstand impact and is also resistant to water. Micarta is known for providing a lot of grip. Even when wet, this knife can be used well. The handle has a rounded ergonomic design which ensures that the knife fits comfortably in your hand, giving you ultimate control over the knife.
Comfortable
All knives are extremely sharp. Due to their perfect balance, they feel comfortable in your hand. Cutting food has never been so easy and enjoyable!
