In 1931, Eugen Hollaender founded Amefa (Apeldoorn Knife Factory) in Apeldoorn. Since its inception, Amefa has been active in the cutlery industry, initially producing razor blades. Over time, Amefa has developed into one of the leading cutlery suppliers in Europe, supplying more than 50 countries and currently employing approximately 300 people worldwide.
