To further support our growth, we're launching our own warehouse and fulfillment operation on the outskirts of Apeldoorn, building it from scratch. This means we'll be responsible for the entire logistics process: from inbound and storage to picking, packing, and shipping. KookGigant is backed by a young, ambitious, and rapidly growing team with our own store, a beautiful office, and this new warehouse. Everyone contributes, is given responsibility, and actively contributes to how we can streamline and improve our processes.


What are you going to do?
As a Warehouse Intern, you'll be involved in the launch of our new warehouse from the very beginning. You'll help set up the logistics processes and also be fully involved in the daily operations of our e-commerce warehouse.

Your duties will include:

  • Participate in the start-up and set-up of the new warehouse
  • Picking and packing of online orders
  • Inbound processing: receiving, checking and booking goods
  • Putaway & replenishment: putting inventory in the right place and replenishing pick locations
  • Processing and assessing returns
  • Ensuring a clean, tidy and safe warehouse

Working days & working hours

Depending on how busy it is, you will work in the morning/afternoon shift or the afternoon/evening shift:

  • Morning/afternoon shift : 08:30 – 17:30
  • Afternoon/evening shift : 1:15 PM – 10:15 PM

We adjust the planning monthly based on order volume and inbound planning.

Who are we looking for?
 We are looking for an intern who:

  • Are you pursuing an MBO or HBO education in logistics, e-commerce or supply chain?
  • Likes to roll up your sleeves and is a real go-getter
  • Works accurately and has an eye for order and structure
  • Interested in logistics processes
  • Can work independently, but also functions well in a team
  • Is flexible and has no problem working alternately during the day and in the afternoon/evening
  • Preferably lives in (the vicinity of) Apeldoorn

Experience is not required: we believe motivation, eagerness to learn and dedication are more important.
